I manage day-to-day activities at West Shore, a national wholesale distributor and supplier of picture framing materials, custom picture framing and fine art printing services. I also teach Drawing 1 and 2 at LCCC and coordinate art exhibits to fill the gallery in an ongoing capacity.
Small School Environment
Right out of high school, I thought that I would benefit from the more personal, small school environment that Mount had to offer both in the classroom and socially.

My favorite professors would have to be Jim Hopper and Joel Collins in the art department. 手放下的领带. They each brought something different to the table. Jim’s approach seemed more deliberate and calculated and he urged my approach to art and life to be the same. On the other hand, Joel’s approach seemed more intuitive and open to interpretation. He urged my artistic endeavors out of my comfort zones. They complimented each other well in the department – a best of both worlds kind of thing.
First Professional Job
I was an adjunct faculty member teaching drawing courses at Daemen College in Amherst, New York. This was not until after earning my Master of Fine 艺术 degree from State University of New York at Buffalo.
Mount Union Involvement
On campus I was the gallery assistant at Crandall, wrote art show reviews for the Mount newspaper, played soccer for the Raiders, was in Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, and part of TRI-PHARM (above the pharmacy apartment renters association).
