UMUToday runs every weekday morning on days classes 是 in session. 所有的提交截止时间是下午三点.m. the business day prior to when you would like your announcement to run. 参赛作品限三次. 请阅读Q&A section below to ensure your submission is accepted.

Frequently Asked Questions (Read Before Submitting Request)

  1. UMUToday什么时候运行?

    UMUToday runs daily Monday through Friday during the academic year on days when there 是 classes 和 every Wednesday during the summer (after Commencement through the first day of classes). 

  2. How do I submit my announcement/event to UMUToday?

  3. How many days will my announcement/event run?

    Your announcement will run on the days you select, for a maximum of three days. 门票活动, it is recommended that you run your first announcement at least three weeks prior to the end of ticket sales. 适用于无票活动, it is recommended that you run your first announcement at least two weeks prior to the event to increase attendance. 

  4. 我今天可以向umu提交什么?

  5. What text can I include with my announcement/event?

    Text must be short 和 include only relevant information (ex: time, 日期, 位置, 简短的细节, 联系信息, 回复的链接, 等.). UMUToday does not accept images or files with submissions in order to be compliant with ADA requirements.

  7. How do I make changes to or cancel my submission?

  8. Can you run my event/announcement for more days?

      • Your request did not exceed the three-run limit 
      • Your request was approved by your office director, department chair, or director of student life 
      • Your submission was not already submitted by someone else 
      • If your submission was an event, you included a time, 日期, 和 位置

      • You haven’t unsubscribed from University 电子邮件s. If you have, please contact the Office of Communication at information@creativasv.net

  11. Can I have a separate 电子邮件 to go out to staff, faculty, 和/or students?

    CWe strongly encourage you to submit your event or announcement to UMUToday, which has a high open 和 click-through rate. The nature of some 电子邮件s may warrant a separate 电子邮件 as laid out in the 电子邮件 policy (ex: emergencies, 罚单事件, 主要校园公告, 等.) If your announcement falls into one of these categories, 请叫你们办公室主任(工作人员), 系主任(教员), or the director of student involvement 和 leadership (students) contact their appropriate 电子邮件 liaison.
